Camp Philosophy
The basic philosophy of the camp emphasizes individual skills and teamwork. The camp staff has a sincere desire to help each individual improve to become the best player he or she possibly can. We hope you will join us for this summer’s basketball camp.

Camp Director
Tom Billeter enters his 5th year as head coach at Augustana. A 1983 graduate of the University of Illinois, Tom’s 20-year coaching experience came from time spent at the University of Arizona, Rice University, NDSU, St. John’s University and most recently as assistant coach at Texas A&M. He directed NDSU to four straight 20-win seasons and 4 straight NCAA Division II national tournament appearances. In 1996, he coached Team America at the Turgut Atakol Tournament in Istanbul, Turkey.

Skills Camp
When: June 2-5, 2008
Ages: Grades 3-6 (Boys & Girls)
Camp Fees: Family Member $60.00; Youth Member $65.00; Non-member $75.00

- Ball-handling drills
- Shooting techniques
- "Camp Games" for skill development

- 8-ft baskets and small ball used by 3rd graders
Competitive 4-on-4 Full-Court Fast Break Camp
Come as a Team OR as an Individual
When: June 9-12, 2008
Ages: Grades 5-8 (Boys & Girls)
Camp Fees: Family Member $60.00; Youth Member $65.00; Non-member $75.00

- Daily ½ hour skill development session
- 4-on-4 Full-Court Games – more opportunities to handle the ball.
- Guaranteed 2 Games per day, coached and refereed as you play.

YMCA Scholarship Information
Connecting Kids coupons are no longer accepted. However, scholarships are available on a sliding fee scale basis according to income. Scholarships are given on a first come, first serve basis. Applications are available upon request.
