That is the goal of the Personal Training Staff has here at the Sioux Falls YMCA. Whether you want to feel better about your fitness level, be more competitive, are rehabbing an injury, or just need assistance getting started or staying motivated, we’re here to help. We can design a personal workout program specifically for you. Through Personal Training we want to help you achieve goals that you never thought could be attained.
It all starts with a new member Total Health Consultation if your have exercised in the past and need a little guidance. The Total Health Consultation will be used to establish your goals and develop a personalized program just for you!
If you are new to exercise and weight training and need more guidance we have a twelve week program designed specifically for you. The focus of the program is on the Process, not on the Product. In other words, the motivation for continuing to adhere to the program is the actual activity itself and not the result of that activity.
If you’re looking for a more individualized program we also offer one on one Personal Training which begins with a health assessment. The assessment includes cardiovascular testing, body composition, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility. The health assessments can be retested to help track progress. From here a certified trainer will work with you as often as you like to help you achieve your lifestyle goals.
