This program promises to deliver a fun introduction to the game of basketball. A special age appropriate sized basketball and lowered hoops will help to ensure every child’s success. From shooting, dribbling, and passing skills, confidence building is the key ingredient in the program. Each team of 8 - 10 players is lead by an adult volunteer leader and an assistant leader. Teams are assigned by the school a child is attending; schools may have to be split or combined due to the number of players registered.

Girls and boys are on separate teams.

Season Schedule

The season will run from the first Saturday of November (Nov. 7^th) to February. Each team will be contacted by their leader before the first practice. A full schedule for each team will be handed out at the first practice and available through the website.

Important date to add to your calendar: Kick-off Party will be December 15^th at the Skyforce game, Athletes of Character will be there signing posters, we will have a balloon twister there with free balloon art/hats for the kids, and 200 free basketballs will be thrown out. No family will be turned away, free tickets available for anyone that needs them. More details to come!

Only need to attend one meeting time. Must attend meeting to get roster. 3rd grade teams can sign up for an extra practice (Must attend meeting to get extra practice. There are a limited number of spots for the extra practices).
