2013 STRONG KIDS CAMPAIGN MEANINGFUL IMPACT
Every day, the Y works to address the most pressing needs in the community it serves by making sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
The annual Strong Kids Campaign helps over 500 individuals and families in need participate in Y programs, such as Leif Ericson Day Camp, swimming lessons, youth basketball, and youth and family memberships.

Examples of what your gift will do
Your Gift of $100
enables two (2) children to participate inswimming lessons, which are vital to decreasing the probability of accidental drowning and provide a life-long skill that is low impact and useful in combating obesity.
Your Gift of $300
will send a child to YMCA Day Campfor two weeks, giving them the opportunity to participate in life-enriching activities, experience nature and learn positive values such as caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility from youth counselor role models.
Your Gift of $500
makes it possible for a single parent and his/her children to obtain aYMCA membership, which provides the chance for them to make positive choices and to lead healthier, more productive lives.
Your Gift of $1,000
will allow ten (10) kids to belong to a YMCA basketball team, which builds their self-esteem and self confidence and helps them learn sportsmanship and team play.
