Basketball

  • Summer Basketball League (Pre K-3rd)

    Each summer basketball league team will have one weekday practice and one Saturday game per week. All teams will be co-coached by YMCA Sports Director Dan Walsh and one other coach. Games will be played on Saturday mornings between 9am-1pm. Teams are divided by age and skill.

  • Lil' Shooters Basketball Camp (K-3rd)

    The primary goal of this camp is to build self-confidence, court awareness, and physical performance.

  • Fast Break Basketball Camp (3rd-5th and 6th-8th)

    Players will compete daily in an instructional fast break league, fundamental practice/competition, team practice and 5 on 5 games. The goal of our camps is to build confidence by improving skill and having fun above all.

  • YFORCE Basketball League (4th-8th)

    A number of teams also have the opportunity to play a regular season league game at the Sioux Falls Arena on the Skyforce Home Court.

  • Hi-Y (9th-12th)

    The "Y" offers a high school basketball (HI-Y) league for boys and girls (not co-ed). Program is available to all High School enrolled students.

  • Hoopsters (K-1st)

    This program promises to deliver a fun introduction to the game of basketball.

  • Rookies (2nd-3rd)

    Along with ball handling and shooting skills, children are ready to work on teamwork.

  • Girls' Tri-State

    Annual Girls’ Tri-State Basketball Tournament

  • Boys' Tri-State

    The games are played in less than 24 hours with the boys and young men participating in a tradition that has grown to the biggest and best basketball tournament in the world based upon Athletic Sportsmanship and Christian Fellowship.
