YMCA Youth Performance Center

Gymnastics

We develop skills and good character!

REGISTRATION for Spring Session 1  is OPENING SOON!!!

The Y is the starting point where many youth learn about becoming active while developing the healthy habits that they will carry throughout their lives. And the benefits are far greater than just physical health. Whether it’s gaining the confidence that comes from learning to cartwheel or building the positive relationships that lead to teamwork, participating in programs at the Y is about building the whole youth, from the inside out.

The Y's focus is to ensure that youth develop an early love for physical activity and active movement. We do this through offering a fun non-competitive gymnastics program with a progression-based curriculum, teaching full-body movement skills with gymnastics and tumbling elements.

Our program will always prioritize safety while encouraging kids to do their best. We not only build skills, we build character. In everything we do, we emphasize the YMCA’s core character values of CARING, HONESTY, RESPECT and RESPONSIBILITY.

MISSED CLASS POLICY
If you miss a class during your session, the class is forfeited, as the YMCA does not have the capacity to allow make-up classes. This is due to the limited availability of gym time and our focus on maintaining coach-to-gymnast ratios, and for safety and quality instruction. If you miss a class or do not attend classes, this does not qualify you for a refund. If the YMCA cancels class due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, etc.), the YMCA will do its best to schedule an additional class or may offer a pro-rated credit amount of the canceled class.
